As the whole world grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, Pakistan is also actively addressing the issue by providing its citizens with a solution. The Ministry of IT and Telecom, in collaboration with the National Information Technology Board, has taken the initiative to develop an application that not only keeps citizens informed about the total number of affected individuals in each province and state, but also functions as a valuable tool with features such as Self-Assessment, Radius Alert, and Pop-Up Notifications to remind them about personal hygiene practices.

This application also offers citizens access to a ChatBot and informative videos on the epidemic, providing them with essential knowledge on how to control its spread. Developed by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) and incorporated into the COVID-Gov-Pk app by the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC), the 'Pak Neghayban' feature helps citizens locate COVID-19 hospitals, ventilators, beds, and testing laboratories in their vicinity. This feature has successfully onboarded 1,100 hospitals across Pakistan.
